Aguila and her siblings
Aguila
Aguila's story began eight years ago when her mother, Lora, gave birth in a forested area in Kaş and was discovered by chance. After Lora and her three puppies were rescued, they stayed with the friends who found them until the puppies were old enough to be weaned. By then, homes had already been arranged for all three dogs. Once they were weaned, each puppy went to their new family, marking the beginning of Ece and Aguila's life together.
Ece had wanted to adopt a dog for a long time. As soon as her friends told her about the puppies, she went to meet them. They were only ten days old when Ece first saw them. They were all completely adorable, and Ece simply couldn't decide which one to choose. Then, Aguila rolled out of her little bed and tried to waddle toward her. In that moment, Ece felt like Aguila was the one who actually chose her.

Last year, Ece moved to the Netherlands to pursue her master's degree. For the first time, she had to spend four months away from her dog. During that period, Aguila stayed in her familiar home in Kaş with Ece's best friend. Realizing that she couldn't imagine her life without Aguila, Ece immediately started the international paperwork and process of bringing her to Europe.
It turned out to be one of the best decisions Ece ever made. Seeing Aguila so happy in Amsterdam is truly priceless. The dog adapted to her new home and country incredibly quickly. Today, Aguila is thoroughly enjoying every single moment as she explores Amsterdam's beautiful parks and makes new friends along the way.
