Bulut and Kızcık
If Kızcık doesn’t want you to work, you can not work, period.
Kızcık
Nil and Bulut opened their store, Bey, in the vibrant neighborhood of Karaköy back in 2014. The streets were full of stray dogs and cats, and their shop quickly became a revolving door for them. They loved having them around and made sure they were always well-fed.
Before long, a mother cat and her little kitten started visiting them every single day. The cats became their shadow; Whenever they closed the shop for the night, the two would curl up right by the entrance. Every morning when Nil and Bulut arrived, the cats were there to greet them.
As winter arrived and the weather turned freezing cold, they showed up at the shop one morning to find the little kitten shivering on the window sill, looking terribly sick. They immediately rushed her to the vet. The diagnosis was clear: she needed intensive care, and surviving on the streets was no longer an option for her.
They brought her inside right away, but keeping her at the shop permanently wasn't sustainable. They needed a plan. At the time, Bulut, who had never owned a pet before, was quite hesitant about having a cat at home. So, they compromised and moved her into their office.
Liza’s ultimate furry guardian

We said “ultimate guardian”, right?
Once she recovered, her true colors showed! She turned into a tiny, chaotic ball of energy, making it absolutely impossible for the office team to get any work done. Seizing the perfect opportunity, Nil happily decided it was time to bring her home for good.
That move changed everything. She didn't just become their pet; she became their child. The funniest part? She and Bulut formed an unbreakable bond, developing a beautiful father-daughter relationship. They named her Kızcık (Little Girl). Years later, when their human daughter was born, Kızcık never left her side, acting as her ultimate furry guardian.
In 2023, they made the big decision to relocate to London. Leaving Kızcık behind was never an option; she is family. They sorted out her pet passport, cleared all her vaccinations, and planned a meticulous travel route.
Because of pet travel regulations, she took a combined flight and road trip via Belgium to finally reach the UK. She handled the long journey like an absolute champ.
Today, Kızcık is living her absolute best life in London. Her daily routine has upgraded significantly: she spends her afternoons sunbathing in the garden and engaging in intense staring contests with the local British foxes. From the bustling streets of Istanbul to a peaceful garden in London, she truly conquered it all.
